Happy Valentine's Day!

I have been absent from my blog for awhile so I thought I better give it some love and you some love if you are reading!

I have been pretty busy with work and my personal life and can't wait to catch you guys up.

  • My Zoya nail polish came in the mail about 2 weeks ago and I'm in LOVE with the colors I chose.
  • I'm going to Chicago next weekend to visit some college girlfriends!
  • I had a great Valentine's day - I have a great boyfriend.
  • I'm planning a trip to Pheonix in March.

Stay tune ... more to come

This show has been airing on E! for several weeks now. The show has received quite a bit of controversy. Have you seen it? I absolutely LOVE this show! I don't know what it is about it but it has me hooked. Here's some reasons why I think I'm hooked:

  • I love anything and everything that has to do with weddings - each week the contestants compete in order to win prizes for their wedding
  • I'm not against plastic surgery, however I would never get plastic surgery right before my wedding (without my future husband even seeing me first)!
  • I love competitions
  • The contestants make the show quite dramatic

A new episode airs tonight at 8pm central time. Will you be tuning in? I know I am ...

stuck in a rut

I have been out of college for about 6 months now and am working a full-time job. Recently I have begin to feel like I'm stuck in a rut - and kind of miss college ... or at least some aspects of it ... below is what I like about working full time/what I miss about college:

  • I really like my job.
  • I LOVE coming home at night and not having to worry about homework.
  • I love not having to worry about finals.
  • I miss "free" time during the day ... basically time that I could allocate to doing things that I wanted to, when I wanted to.
  • I miss working towards a goal ie. a certain project, achieving a certain grade or graduating

I think the last point is what is making me feel "stuck." I really want to find a new hobby or club or class to enroll in. I think learning something new will fix my "rut."

I have looked into online classes and have found some that I'm really interested in. I would also like to learn how to take better pictures. I love reading blog subscriptions everyday and finding creative ideas on them all of the time - they are great inspiration.

Have you been stuck in a rut ... or are you right now? What kinds of things did you do get yourself working (for fun) again?
